Art Conservation research fellowship starting January 1, 2022

Queen's University Art Conservation Program (Kingston, Ontario) is delighted to offer the Isabel Bader Research Fellowship in Paper Conservation. The Fellow will benefit from a unique opportunity to undertake research in an academic setting, while acquiring essential pedagogical and communication skills. This Fellowship is designed to enhance skills in research and communication with an ambitious program tailored to the needs and skills of the successful candidate. Working closely with the Professor of Paper Conservation, the Research Associate will undertake research linked to current program goals and will develop workshops to be delivered to graduate students within the Paper stream. Under the direction of the Professor, the incumbent will be responsible for two short research projects, including their design, implementation, and analysis, ideally resulting in papers presented at professional conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
